I second this, and well put! I feel it is further evidenced by the proliferation of the “flat earth theory” that some way, some how is actually picking up traction! And the new nonsense I’m seeing on the socials would have you believe naturally occurring step plateaus are, in fact, ancient trees that elevated miles into the atmosphere. Honestly, I don’t know where people come up with this stuff… down right terrifying!!

We have agreed by mutual consent in the relatively recent past, and Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist is aware and concurs, that we are no longer going to pursue "Flat Earth" and related topics here as it has gotten out of control, and resulted in the temperature of the room being raised more than necessary. (Unrelated to "global warning".)
