Random Thought Thread

Wasn't someone's kid that used to frequent this forum go on the show as well? Thought he used a carothers. Mike or Brian something?
There were actually several BF members on the show.

Mecha competed with one of his titanium swords. Dan Keffeler was on the show, too (pity he didn't bring a Super Assassin, though).

There were also a couple of other Bladesports competitors, besides Jo.

Me and my youngest watched a bunch of episodes. His favorite competitor by far was Big Chris.

Have you ever ordered chicken strips or a chicken sandwich, then bitten into it to find that it's fully cooked, but there's this rubbery raw-textured patch of meat? What the heck is that? What causes it?

I'm driving home from a trip and we stopped to get chicken sandwiches. Just had this happen.

Had a dinosaur show up on our property the other day. That was bizarre.

I really do! It's not grisle (spelling?).

Only thing I can think of is that it's due to freezing the meat or something.

Random piece of cartilage that wasn't trimmed properly?

Could be anything, really. My sister once ordered a chicken sandwich from the Salty Dog in Hilton Head, SC (I forget which specific restaurant, there's a dozen of them). She couldn't cut it in half because there was a sheet of thick, clear plastic embedded horizontally within the chicken "breast". The Salty Dog somehow figured out a way to make a meal worse than a rubber-chicken dinner.
