The Friday early morning before we got crazy hot it was 49 degrees. Two days later it was 100.

Seems it’s hot in most of the country this year. It’s an El Nino year, so weather will be crazy.I got a taste of it last week with a heat index of 117 on Thursday. A day and a half was enough to last all year.
I couldn’t even imagine what you folks go through all the time, a tip of my hat to all of you guys![]()
Supposedly going to be another crazy winter too.Seems it’s hot in most of the country this year. It’s an El Nino year, so weather will be crazy.
Good! I love winter and I hope we get 3’ of snow this year. Fat chance being in the south though.Supposedly going to be another crazy winter too.
Come up to Utah. I heard this year was the most snow we've ever had on record (I didn't care enough to verify it). All i know is we had crazy amounts and we really lucked out that there wasn't more flooding.Good! I love winter and I hope we get 3’ of snow this year. Fat chance being in the south though.
One of these days, wife and I gonna make it out there to do some backpacking.Come up to Utah. I heard this year was the most snow we've ever had on record (I didn't care enough to verify it). All i know is we had crazy amounts and we really lucked out that there wasn't more flooding.
The upcoming winter is supposed to be more of the same
Dude, that’s awesome. That’s what inspires us to try and make the trip that way one day. We almost made a 4x4 overlanding trip to Moab last year, but work wouldn’t allow at the time. Can't go wrong. So many great places. I'm especially fond of Southern Utah.

And the mountain biking is fantastic as well.If you ever get out this way, let me know. I can send you some routes and trails that you'll really like.
4x4 offroading is a great way to get to places you couldn't otherwise.
That's true. I'm too uncoordinated for that, but my two friends are way way into itAnd the mountain biking is fantastic as well.
We had the absolute worst winter in Mass last year. It was mostly record-setting warmth except for one day when we had record-setting cold and we got about 2" of snow....we ended up going sledding as a family once and it was basically slush. Hoping we get "seasonal" weather this year - some days in the teens and twenties and enough snow to stick around and enjoy winter sports for a couple months.Good! I love winter and I hope we get 3’ of snow this year. Fat chance being in the south though.
I haven’t lived there in more than a decade, but I will always call St. George home. I’ve traveled a lot in the last 12+ years, but I’ve never found a place that could replace that bright red desert. Can't go wrong. So many great places. I'm especially fond of Southern Utah.
