I’ve noticed and mentioned this before. There seems to be a disproportionate number of Southpaws that hang out in the CPK forum.
I’m assuming that is your hand and you are a southpaw.

Were you talking to me?

If so, yes, I'm mainly left handed (like writing/cutting/shooting) but I'm actually ambidexterous and do other things right handed (like batting, thowing & drinking). LOL! ;)

(an unfortunately serious) Public Service Announcement;

Adding to above, strongly consider, at least, -not- going with Ti rings. They are damn near impossible to remove with unpowered tools (hand-powered ring cutting tools, even medical grade, only make pretty scratches). If a finger donned with one is injured and swelling blocks removal (unless degloving took care of it), power tools, industrial bolt cutters (with 3'-5' handles), or finger... abduction... is typically required.

I have an identical piece made of copper.

I wasn’t but that just furthers my point.
And I’m the same way in that I’m dominant left but do some things either hand and a few things right handed.
My brothers two boys are similar but opposite of each other. One writes with his left but throws with his right. The other writes with his right and throws with his left.

I was once at the bank trying to fill out a withdrawal slip. Things seemed kind of wonky while filling out the slip and my signature looked way off. I scrapped that ticket and tried again. Same result, so I threw that slip out too. I started filling out the third slip and realized I was using the wrong hand.

My sister used to be traffic emergency doctor for several years (mostly Autobahn accidents). She has an interesting technique to remove a ring from a swollen finger. She takes a nylon thread and wraps it tight around the finger, starting from the ring, all towards the finger tip. Once she reaches the tip, she removes the ring. Not painless but works.

Similar technique we did frequently was to lubricate the ring finger, use silk suture under the ring, then wrap the distal aspect past the ‘knuckle’, then unwrap using the piece that was closest to the hand. We hated cutting rings off because so many have very strong sentimental value.

Thank you, that's very kind. We're finding our way, as we all do in the wake of such losses.

Whenever you feel that the time may be right to read a book or two which will make you both bawl your eyes out, lough out loud and then bawl out some more, let me know to either to send or to recommend them to get from Amazon (chances are that you may have already know of or have read them, but still!). These books helped me out coping during my grief and bereavement the last time when I went through a loss of this kind.

I have a feeling I've read them, Mat. (And, unfortunately, this our second go-round. The last was three months before we rescued Skyler ten years ago next month.)

We're not breaking any new ground, it's just our turn (again).

This was the last guy I shed tears over...
