For anyone who has not tried the Mummert clip on an SDFK, I have to say I am pretty thrilled. I got a beautiful sheath from C.Pirtle with the clip installed. I wore it on my weak side tucked inside of my belt at 9 0’clock while felling trees and cutting firewood for 2 days. Really great secure setup being very accessible but out of the way for bending/lifting.

Could not agree more ! Works well on kydex, too - the holes are (mostly) in the right place. Except, sometimes, there is no room :)

Daaaang sounds like they got the guy that smoked 2pac.
"...one of...".

Supposedly, the uncle who was driving the Cadillac, and possibly provided the gun to the nephew who actually did the shooting (saw the presser).

The nephew was himself, shot to death in '98. Of the 4 occupants in the Cadillac, the guy arrested is the only one still alive. Apparently, the moron didn't realize there's no statute of limitations for murder, and released a memoir a few years ago, incriminating himself.

Accessory to murder = can be charged with murder.

Just reinforces a good rule of thumb:
"Don't hang around stupid people, going stupid places, doing stupid things"

No way I could pocket carry a fixed blade. I already carry enough junk in both of my pockets. I’d definitely be interested in a belt sheath model though.

With the Pirtle sheaths, the ones listed as “multi-carry” have the holes drilled so you can mount the many styles of clips, he also makes an integrated drop loop attachment for them. I like the Sagewood drop loop adapters and use those on many of the Pirtle sheaths I own. Chad also has permanent way to make drop loop sheaths but those are customized requests so you won’t see it in the options sometimes.

Here‘s my Pirtle UF2 multi-carry sheath with a Sagewood gear drop loop adapter, I have this same setup for DEK1 and 2 also:

Nice! That’s how I’d carry my fixed blade.

I like it with Chads sheaths. His holes are drilled approx 1” apart and the Sagewood Gear adapter slots sometimes have to be elongated a touch to get them to match so the barrel of the screw connection slides through. It’s not much, a small round chainsaw file just take few swipes.
