Yeah, Lot’s wife turned to look back at Sodom and Gammorah burning while their family fled. God turned her into a pillar of salt because he made a rule that they weren’t allowed to look.

Job is the guy who God made a bet with the devil over. God bet that Job would stay loyal even if he completely destroyed his life. So God killed all of Job’s livestock, killed all of his wives and children, and gave him the plague. Job stayed faithful to God and was rewarded with even hotter wives and cooler, more athletic children. Pretty similar to the plot of Trading Places actually.

Never mind me, I must be drunk after one too margaritas! Frozen tundra in Cali? Fat chance! It’ll be more like a frigging inferno zone again!
