Maybe around 7 a.m then goes into a 170 degree oven for a long rest till lunch time

Cool thing is I was given this brisket for free by a co worker that didn't want to deal with cooking it!

He said "just tell me when it's done"

The sad thing is the butcher he used trimmed all the fat off of it

I'm cooking it lower and slower hoping it'll come out good

And also GEONBAE!!!

Trimming it is half the fun.

I started smoking a pork butt at 6 am today, I think we're on different schedules!
Day + Night shift = a 24 hr BBQ joint!

I will say one thing.....

So I check to see if I need to add more hickory every half hour and of course I have my K20 in hand (I mean.... you always have to look for a reason to carry a K20)

And the fing umbrella keeps eyeing me up

Haven't you ever wanted to shoot your lawnmower? Really put a round to it?

Only gotten mad at a mower once and it was my fault thinking I could clear a stump…. Nope- bent the crank.

I wanted to shoot a snowmachine that was buried in crap snow and had to dig down 5’ to the actual ground and make a tunnel to get out. Thankfully after I explained in English with Spanish cuss words that I was wanting to ‘put it down like a horse’, the machine and I finally made it to the cabin. I admit I was stressed and cold and tired I think all the critters pick up some bilingual education when I am breaking trail.
