My son is perhaps too young to appreciate this but I wanted to make him a wooden sword for Christmas.
I had intended to mimic/ make a copy of Nathan’s integral dagger… but the obvious difference in experience, skill, and technology was pretty evident early on.
Back in my day we had to make-do with sticks and imagination.
