Why the hell would it matter if it's leap year?
I measure my future longevity (in part) on the death of celebrities I've known (as a fan) during my lifetime.
My estimated longevity has just been further diminished by the report of the death of Carl Weathers who I remember best for his role as Apollo Creed in Rocky 1-4 (1976-1985) and for his role in "The Predator" (1987) who reportedly died yesterday at age 76, just 2 years older than I will be at the end of this year.
RIP, Carl.

I always wondered how people who are born on 2/29 deal with having a birthday only once every 4 yrs.Why the hell would it matter if it's leap year?
Had a friend like that in grade school. Yup, we’d tease him, “But it’s not really your birthday. Better luck next year. Oh wait… not next year either!”I always wondered how people who are born on 2/29 deal with having a birthday only once every 4 yrs.![]()
$2,000 dollars for a home security system with $70/month for monitoring both fire and burglary: risk mitigation to my homeownder's insurance: $6/annually.
Yeah, they were in the running. But I'm picky and do security in layers. SimpliSafe didn't fill the niche that I was looking to fill. Your bringing up buying a gun seems like the universe confirming my need to buy the Staccato XC I have been drooling over...You can buy a nice gun for the money you save in the first year.
Might want to check out SimpliSafe.
