I went by and saw the post office that burned down a couple of weeks ago.
And, someone carved a really cool bear at the base of the tree that got struck by lightning and started the whole thing. I was amazed at the incredible job the firefighters did at saving the surrounding buildings, including a market that was only about four feet away

We brought are oldest grandson to Maui for his 18th birthday it was Monday and are 15 year old daughter. Today they had surfing lessons and pick up on it quick. The first few days are busy but then a week of resting and beach walking.

Maui is a special place. I'm glad y'all are able to enjoy it, I haven't been since the fires. Awesome sunset.

Another thing Nathan the Machinist probably loves about new diesel vehicles. Sit in your loader at full throttle for 15-20 minutes wasting fuel while it regens the particulate filter because you know it’s good for the environment.
