My little sister stuck a small, rolled up piece of paper in my ear when I was a kid napping on the couch. No doctors, but it took me a long time to work it out of there. Big fun.

When I worked Urgent Care/Primary Care I was amazed how smart and cunning some of the kids age 3-8 could be. Lol.
Glad she didn’t push it farther back, and isn’t traumatized by the visit.

The nurse should have made her eat a bowl of spinach or Brussels sprouts so it doesn’t happen again?

I cant just NOT show this to you all. I couldnt live with myself if I didnt. It's just one of those things that once you see it you cant go back.

It's kind of like once you curl your tongue you forget how to not be able to? I think?

I dunno. anyways. this is something that I think is important that you guys see.

It's only because i care about you all and want you to see the truth for what it is.

I hope Nathan the Machinist and Blues understand this is nothing personal. I have to do this it's important.

When I worked in the ER, a trick we would do would be to have the parent close the non obstructed nostril, then blow into their kid's mouth which would usually often eject the offending M&m, bead or frijole

And I had one parent blow a kids ear-drum out when attempting this trick, so I don't advise it unless the ENT says the kid needs an adenoidectomy - then the Eustachian tubes wont be open to allow this barotrauma.
