I got this 20' military surplus shipping container for about $2,000 total cost. The wiring, lights, benches, power panel was all part of it. It is heavy duty enough that you could literally drive a forklift in it. Insulated with doors on the ends and an access panel on the side. It even came with an air conditioner but I got rid of that because it was an old 3 ton unit which was way too big for my needs. I'll cut a little hole and just hang a window unit in it.

I can't imagine buying a shed

I'd prefer something like that and tried to find one. It wasn't a feasible option.

I didn't find any in that price range near me. The ones I did find required you to transport and unload them. I don't have the equipment to do any of that.

There would also be a lot of difficulty getting it into my backyard without a crane......soooo....shed.

Where are we finding such containers??
Gov Planet, Iron Planet and other auction sites.
It’s a deep rabbit hole and shipping/transport can be horrendous.
Unless you have unlimited resources try not to get sucked into buying an old military truck.
Old Department Vehicles are usually pretty decent

I usually go to an annual crawfish boil every year, but due to the crazy prices, it's going to be a pig roast. A little sad, but still excited for a porcine party!
Are you in an area that produces crawfish? Was there a weather event or natural circumstance that led to the price increase or is it just general inflation?

I'm in Connecticut. My sister's in-laws are from Lousiana, so they do it every year to get a taste of home. I guess there was a drought last year and it caused prices to go up to $15 a lb. for the bigger ones, which are the ones that they order. I love crawfish, but mostly because they are tasty AND cheap. We can get Maine lobster any day of the week for under $10 when it's not on sale. But they settled on a pig roast to keep the party going.

Cute lil feller.

They keep them in the rice fields in California now and sell them when they are in season. As a guy that grew up in the south but lives in Northern California now, it’s a welcome addition.

I got a hummingbird on the garage once and could not catch the darn thing.

Got my neighbor's feeder and hung it about 5 feet outside the door from a step ladder.

Bird saw it and went right for it. Closed the garage door being him while he topped up on go sauce.
Hummingbirds are so cool!
A moose followed me into my garage hoping for carrots or apples and would not leave. I had to back her out pushing her muzzle. My wife was watching and stayed calm as she always does with large critters. 🤣Thankfully most of my moose encounters have been great.

A guy got killed here by a moose yesterday- got close taking a photo.
