Random Thought Thread

Don't ya just love days like this ...

you know ... like when you've had a few good days ... somethings are coming together ... ya got an unexpected check in the mail for a refund on somethimg you bought 6 years ago ... you buy a scratch ticket on a whim and win just enough to fill your cooler with ice cold beer ... ya just bought a new knife you weren't sure about ... but it turns out to feel like Luke's lightsaber when you pull it from it's sheath ...

and then ....
well then ...
then you find out your truck needs a new transmission ... your boat is on fire ... and your dog ran away ...

and you look for your dog and the first person you walk up to and ask politely ... have you seen my dog ... well then they just haul off and kick you square in the nuts ...

and when you catch your breath ... you realize that it's the 2nd day this week that's happened ...

and then you remember ... it's just Tuesday?

you know the kind of day I'm talking about yeah?

they kinda suck.

Hurricane Florenece devastated our area. It's been tough
Glad to still have a home, can't say the same for familes on the same block as us. Grateful for the CPK team, Thank you Ninja jo for checking in on us and the help you provided.
Looking forward to the preorder today to take my mind off things.

^ if in doubt for the preorder, ask Nathan if the HC will be just restricted to the preorder only or will it also be offered in the future Fridays sales as they become available.
 
I want it, but I think it will be kinda redundant among the many many big blades I have right now! I absolutely love my BC and the MC. It covers ALL the bases of my big knives and if they don't, one of my Beckers, SYKCO or Busses will do the trick!
 
The MC will be a production model light weight high performance 10" chopper replacing the LC. Currently there are no plans to produce the HC (HDMC) as a production model though I may at some point. For now I'm adding it as an option on the MC preorder because it would be pretty straight forward to add some to that build and some people have wanted an HC. Same scales, same tools and fixtures for most ops. The big difference from a manufacturing point of view is the tall grind, but we had to figure that one out for the comp chopper project so we already have the tooling and process for that too.
