Beautiful! Is that VIP buffed?

Well, it was a good idea, then, wasn’t it…. 😉

Don't envy you Mr. G. It's an uphill battle tutoring American capitalism to the altruistic types. Our other mutual friend and Nathan's kindred soul is slowly coming around but relapsing is always a concern ;)

Fight the good fight, my friend.

I’m a big fan of altruism, but only after you’ve raked in heaps of money. Then you start a grant so poor kids can get an education or learn a skilled trade so they can escape poverty by overcharging the masses for stupid old handle material. 😬

Nathan's not made of money man.

just buy him a shirt and some fabric markers and get to work

He’s not made of money because he’s not charging enough. All of you REALLY need to be thankful that he’s doesn’t ever listen to me.

I’d have Jo the Machinist Jo the Machinist struggling to decide which diamond studded fur to wear to shop at Walmart, if the pricing was left to me.

Jake, is there a bit of a crust on that one? What I am wondering is whether the pics posted are of the Crusty VIP Micarta or plain VIP Micarta?

This came up once before and I thought I knew for sure but I honestly can’t say for certain now. These particular scales have that slight bit of darker color on the inside, which is the “outside” of the original slab so it has taken on that slight patina.

I also have a different set with full black liners like the ECAM scales have. With this confusion, I do not know what is considered plain, crunchy or crusty! I think Jo the Machinist Jo the Machinist is needed to set me straight!

JACKMANDU JACKMANDU , these are buffed but the weave is so defined that they don’t look it in pics. Get some, its worth it
