Mr. Sutherland was in some mini series on HBO a couple or few years ago with Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman, playing the role of Kidman’s father. I forgot the name of the series, it was entertaining enough but not stellar however in every scene that Donald Sutherland was in, he injected lots of gravitas to it playing this aristocratic type, hard nosed NY wealthy gentleman. He was really that good even in his mid 80’s.

This "new" International Paper Micarta is similar to the Westinghouse material I have but a fraction of the price. They bought the Micarta brand from Westinghouse in the 80s.

The weave, color, texture, machinability and translucency are very similar to the OG Westinghouse, however it's only about 30 years old so it hasn't taken on the dark colors of the antique material.
