You should see the sorts of things found during search warrants. ☺️

Oh, speaking of vans and piss bottles.

Back in the 80's in NYC we had a surveillance van that was painted and marked like it belonged to the phone company. Periscope so we could keep low key surveillance, and wired for sound and video. It was pretty state of the art for the time.

So, my partner and I are in the back of the van monitoring a location in Brooklyn and it's like 110 degrees. So we strip down to tank tops and gym shorts to try not to faint from the heat.

Then I spot a couple of hood rats scoping out the "service van". I knew they were thinking they might rip off some phone gear, tools, whatever.

Imagine their surprise when they open the rear doors of the van and see two guys in gym attire sitting there with pistols aimed at their heads.

That was a fun afternoon.
