I usually only go to the ER when I need stitches. (Of course, I realize that may change.)

After my last experience with the ER billing for stitches, I may just glue it up with super glue and duct tape.

Hospitals must need money. The last time they gave me like a 30% discount to pay with a credit card that day and defray the deductible. The bill wasn't as painful as the injury.

In any case, I've been happy overall with the medical and optional dental plans we've been subscribed to.
