am I alone in thinking that the transformation of media/news/journalism/opinion has made people complicit in the negative trajectory of the quality of their lives?
We talk about health, as in food- and that it's 'garbage in garbage out'. I understand that, it's just consequence in action, every day and every moment.
So why not consider health from the mental standpoint? Front and center, since we always seem to talk about it in hushed tones. Too easy, also, to just throw 'crazy' around and be like 'shit's crazy, huh'?
We gotta start thinking about and talking about and confronting the fact that too many people's minds are constantly digesting the mental equivalent of a gas station hotdog.
Too many serious players spewing garbage- vitriol, hatred, fear; all the addictive hits. Give the masses their boogeymen, so they're so distracted by delusion that they can't see the reality that's staring them in the face- that they are being exploited.
The guillotine's time is coming, I predict. Eventually the veil is drawn, the people have suffered enough, and the Emperor is suddenly naked.
