I named the "kestrel" for Tony Marfione during a visit to his shop 20 something years ago. He charged me $100 for a prototype.

Never heard of that king of trap. You need a shotgun full of bird shot for that thing!

We usually kill 2 or 3 around the house each summer. My middle boy accidentally stepped on one last year, thankfully it went the opposite direction instead of striking. I caught and killed it the next day, 4ft of danger noodle.
