For me personally, my 12-inch Behemoth.

But if I was carrying it on a multi-day hike like I used to do, it's tough to beat the LC.

It's not just lighter when you're packing it, it's lighter in your hand when you're using it so if you're making something, you have better control and it's less tiring. It's a lot like a smaller knife, like a field knife, but with some big knife capabilities. It's not as fun blasting 2x4s, but it's really handy in actual long-term use.

The best use of it that I have heard of so far is a person who used it full time on a long-term basis carving coconuts for tourists in Hawaii. Perfect tool for the application.

If you are a collector who purchases the knife to admire it and hate to see blemishes develop in the use of the tool over time, the kydex sheath is a bad idea. You would want a leather sheath.

The wood will wear on the kydex faster than micarta, but functionally it will be just fine and last a lifetime of use. But yes, the wood will show wear overtime, although we use perhaps the most durable wood available so the wear is pretty slow.

A few weeks back, I did an overnighter at an extended Family member's remote, South Texas Farm (*while they were out of town). Instead of my usual SDFK/1911/multiple mag combo, I had a much-lighter BFK/.22 WMR revolver/50-round box of ammo combo.

Yes, I survived.

I just sat outside for the last 20 minutes, listening to the loudest and biggest migration at once I’ve ever heard!!

Couldn’t see them, it’s too dark.

But Sandhills, Giants, Blues, Speckle Belly, Cracklers, Mallards, Blueheads, even Woody’s too, absolutely amazing❤️❤️

Wish it would have been light outside to actually see them all, 1000 upon 1000’s.

Definitely means up North just froze and they will migrate all night now till unfrozen ground and water is found.

Winter is here.

OK, here’s a random topic (somewhat related to how dumb people seem to be nowadays);

Anyone else seen all these claims of Unidentified drones/aerial phenomenon flying all over New Jersey (and now, apparently PA and other places), and almost all the footage is of identifiable planes, helicopters, and flying objects with FAA compliant lighting? 😂😂😂

*** other footage that isn’t as easily identifiable, must have been taken by professional Bigfoot videographers 😅
