Is this that thing where you don't shag for a month?

I think it has to do with it being cold... like the outside temp is less than the cloud point of #2 diesel? and all the other petroleum and OTHER LUBRICANTS being frozen and hard and not particularly effective? so...

Yep, I had one of 10 of the first diesel package cars. Loved it, it always started, stayed warm, didn’t have run on when you shut it off.

First winter it was 11 below, the fuel geled up, had to get towed in. They finally installed fuel heaters after that.

Gosh I loved that truck, the gas trucks absolutely sucked and leaked fuel too, especially the run on after shutting it off.

Had to have your foot on the brake until it was off or it would bump you off the seat if you took your belt off too soon.

Those were the days, now it’s electric, lol and no good heating

Loved my Diesel!!

I’ve long wanted to see one in person…from a safe distance of course. I live too far south so I have to settle for alligators.

I still haven’t seen a wild one in person. They visit the cabin when I am not there. I love having critters around.

I have seen black bears and alligators down here live and up close! Big bears, little gators.
