Here's a bfk simple test of the magnacut and D3v prying on wood. the 3v had no problem. the magnacut would warp. When I was going to break it into shape, he broke.

Should not bend half an inch (?) of the tip when just sticking and prying in wood at that depth - also with MC, that's my take anyways.

You read our collective minds! Wasting a perfectly good knife for the sake of testing D3V prowess vs MagnaCut didn't really prove anything most of us already did not know! Should have stopped and contacted the Mothership directly right after the tip area was already warped

With the amount of tips I've broken on knives by not prying, I'd never try to use one to pry.

Grind it flat and sharpen the flat. Be the proud owner of the only CPK dive knife. The Diver Field Knife (DFK). Magnacut is a bonus for that application. Everyone will want one.
