Yeah, I had his fishing post quoted and was ready to post it here - luckily I read the last two pages :). Not only he was breaking the exchange rules, he was breaking rule #1 :(... Well, congrats NUTRAMAC NUTRAMAC for the new acquisition!

Yeah, I saw Rob's post about a minute after he did it. I consider Rob a friend, so I didn't get involved with interest in the knife or correcting the seller if it would affect the sale. I figured any other interest in the knife would be all that was needed to play one side against the other. I am glad it worked out for Rob and that it doesn't seem like there was anybody being used to play off him to jack the price up.

Rob, what kind of blade finish and what material / color of handle scales does it have? Does is have a sheath? If so, Spec-Ops or BB's Kydex?

I’m just glad that a forum member got a shiv at a good price! That is sure one beautiful knife and I would of paid more than $600. Maybe better luck next month on my b-day.
 
My PM was sent at 9:40. After I sent it I seen your reply in the sale thread. So I’m thinking I was prob third. He asked for my email is all and then sent pictures. I sent an email back asking for a price. At this point the deal may of already been done and he never asked for any amount from me.

It’s all good, you got the deal done!! Congrats.

^ Well, I wasn't gonna mention it, but you (rarely) CAN find one of these for sale. Actually, I just got a SHIV today (bought it a couple of weeks ago, but only picked it up today). It's 3V (which I prefer) and I got it at a better price than what's been mentioned in the above posts...

Eta: yeah, I know I got lucky, but I wouldn't entertain someone like the seller. It's not the price he sold it for, it's how he did it - straight to my ignore list he went ;)
