I'm more than happy to help anyone if I can !
I know they collaborated on the 10 speed transmission, which would make sense as I had to replace one a year ago!I really shouldn't make fun of Fords since GM is having it's own issues right now
Wait a minute..... did GM start making Ford trucks? Lol
Mines been awesome so far. Knock on wood!!!I know they collaborated on the 10 speed transmission, which would make sense as I had to replace one a year ago!

ETA: for the record, my experience with the 10 speeds have been largely positive, but as I understand it, the ones that have problems have serious problems.
If you know anything about vw’s then this is commonplace.
My soon to be brother in law is a former GM mechanic. He does not have much good to say about today's GM made cars and trucks. They all have problems. I have a coworker that has a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the 6.2. It has like 60k and he is on his 3rd motor and 2nd transmission. He just had the motor replaced and they put 100k warranty on it. Obviously he doesn't trust that truck and will be the last GM he buys.
Coworker told me there is a problem with the 6.2 with catastrophic failure. Whatever that means. My soon to be brother in law is a former GM mechanic. He does not have much good to say about today's GM made cars and trucks.

Wife’s got 105k on her 2017 Ram 1500 Hemi. Been a great truck, all I’ve done is change the oil and put new brakes on the front a couple years ago. Had the exhaust manifolds replaced under warranty when they cracked. (Yours will crack to)I've had zero problems with my 2020 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi with 90K on it. Of course it could burst into flames today or the transmission self destruct. I've always had GMC until the last one. So far so good and I drive it hard.
