It needed a sharpening. I still didn’t get the chip out in the belly. It hasn’t caused me too many problems. I will get down that far eventually. If it’s not too personal, do y’all sharpen with the push and pull strokes? Or just the pull?

Nice set up!

It depends on what grit and where I'm at..... when I'm pretty much finished the last thing I do is run the final stone really lightly over the edge like a strop on both sides

I *can* see green and red… but when it is mixed/ close proximity to another color or in not optimal lighting situations , then it is difficult to tell them apart.
So a Christmas tree looks to me like a green tree with various decorations.

Colorblindness is an interesting thing, I'm also red/green and I tell people it's more like being "color stupid" 😂

I can see and tell what red and green are, but it's less vibrant and I lack the granularity; in those gradient tests where there's like a square grid or line showing different shades of a color, I will maybe see 5 or 7 distinct variations where someone else might be able to see 15 or 20. I also struggle to discern sometimes between colors that are mixed - like brown vs a muddy or muted red or green - brain just does not compute. Also colors that are not super saturated, like some lighter pinks will appear white to me.

Definitely a girl mouth open in both pics. I’ll duck now. Congratulations hope everyone is doing great.

I don't think there's a definitive answer. Some are pretty vehement that it's one or the other but my limited experience is that both work, and sometimes finishing with just one or the other works better.

Not very helpful, I'm afraid.

I grew up stating I was color confused.
I made fun of my brother for being color blind for decades…
Turns out I am worse than him.
