Canadians are burning their forests, with smoke completely blocking the sun today. (I assume it's out of spite, somehow related to tariffs) View attachment 2930536
I have a sign on my door that says don't knock, the baby is sleeping. I have another sign that says no soliciting, we're not interested, etc.
We have a camera doorbell....nobody rings it. They knock, my dogs bark, my kid wakes up. I get pissed.
The next stupid idiot that knocks on my door is going to get a full, unfiltered, pissed off tirade. I don't care if we go to church together, I don't care if you're my neighbor, I don't care if you're selling solar. READ THE SIGNS! DON'T KNOCK ON MY DOOR!
People are so stupid. Rant over.
I'm going to have to make a bigger don't knock sign and post up a no trespassing sign. I would setup a motion activated sprinkler, but I don't want to hit package handlers/delivery drivers.
Does anyone have any suggestions for weather proofing the sign I'm going to make? Some osb or plywood, stencils, rattle can, and a clear coat are about all I know of to get it done.

I’ve gotten signs made for my gate on my driveway that are like street name signs. The last forever. You can get them cheaper than a sheet of plywood. Just search custom street signs. Mine say no pg&e because even though I am off the grid, at the end of a dead end road, and more than a mile from any power lines, the power company was constantly coming up here with giant trucks messing stuff up. The last straw was them going around my locked gate smashing a bunch of trees, running over the no trespassing sign with my phone number on it, at one in the morning, just to realize that they were lost.
