Reaper blade is like 4" and DEK is 4.5". And the Reaper handle is even more "banana".

It's also handle heavy...like when it's locked into your hand, you'd want to use it as a noggin' knocker from the south end, or a roll of quarters backing up your knuckles for a fist strike. It's a formidable piece of work.

the EDC was designed to work, the CR35 was designed to shank.

That’s what I was getting at, thank you. I’m trying to imagine a knife shape in between those that would share half of each models attributes? Half shank / half work.

Any of Lorien's designs can accommodate both, IMHO.

That’s why I added the custom Dek2 on the left.

BTW, anybody use the Reaper for Hunting ? Must be outstanding for that.

I only own a "standard" DEK 2, but I'd consider it: "All work and no all play".

It's actually the knife I'd have wanted with me when I was on SRT back in the day. Pretty much the sharp edged companion for the Halligan bar.

Get a DEK1 and you've got it.

All this "raising girls" talk is giving me anxiety.

My daughter is 16 months old.......and my wife is pregnant with our second child; also a girl. I'm in big trouble from the sound of it.
