ferider I think you misunderstand I HATE cold weather. When I say cold weather I mean anything below 50*. When I say 50* I mean 50* ABOVE zero. I don't know how yall live in this kind of crazy temperatures. I spent 2 winters on a project in Davenport, IA and the first winter we had record snowfall, record cold temps and record flooding. It was horrible. The second winter was a "mild" winter so just regular zero degrees with lots of ice.

After 20+ years in a climate where the only "winter" was 1-2 months of rain, I love having seasons again, just like when I grew up. And the cold is no issue ... even my Southern Cal. wife likes it, for her the air being so much cleaner than in CA matters much more. A cold winter day is opportunity to cuddle up in front of the fire place, a glass of wine, etc.
