I went to the Tsukiji fish market years ago to watch the tuna auctions that started at 6:00 am. Amazing place!Just digging through my photos .... Tokyo fish market (Tsukiji) 9years ago, beer and Sushi at 5am with a co-worker / friend.
Unfortunately, the market close October 11, 2018.
I know this because I sent my friend to this place this summer on his vacation. He said there's a new market that sounds more regulated than Tsukiji. I don't think tourists can go everywhere like they use to be able to do.
