Yes as a child, I was very worried about this. But thankfully the Government helped and replaced that worry with taxes...

Don't forget about human trafficking, surveillance states, screw worms (terrifying), communism, imbezzlement, election fraud, false imprisonment, etc.

The things you do for love :) .... 200 balustrade boards done. Now she gets to paint them green.

I'm actually surprised reading this coming from the top top knifemaker and CPK impresario! If you learn how to harvest pomegranate seeds, which still messy requiring attention and precision, it can become like scalping, flaying, spanking and drowning someone to death before devouring them 🤣

Wut

Pomegranates aren't that tough to eat/de-seed

Yeah

My effort wasn't anything like that

It was actually very very much not like that. Like, not at all. like that.

I have never actually seen a monkey try to fuck a football, but it was kind of more like that.

Daniel O'Connor is becoming one of my favorite knife makers. I've had a chance to visit with him a few times and he is extremely knowledgeable about a lot of stuff about knives (and swords and martial arts), that I don't know, that I find very fascinating. And he is wildly talented. Quiet understated excellence is something I really appreciate in another knife maker.

This is my second knife from him and it's a beauty. I really like this knife and I finally had a chance to put it to work today making some beef heart jerky.

That doesn't look like much, but that's an obscene amount of habanero

It's not every day that I'm genuinely impressed with the work of another knife maker. I'm actually very critical, so a piece like this that works so well in so many ways there's a lot of fun for me.

Praise like that coming from you, I had to look up his site. Damn! Some gorgeous knives.

Random thoughts;

1) It’s kind of impressive how easily a razor sharp santoku can slice through a fingernail when you’re momentarily distracted.

2) It’s also pretty impressive how a clean cut with a thin, razor sharp blade has no pain even while bleeding 😅

3) I need to restock those single use tubes of superglue
