That's not true. The majority of scholars agree on the fact that Jesus died, was buried in a tomb and body went missing.
Yes you are right, most were buried in mass graves but doesnt mean they all were. A rich man named Jospeh took Jesus' body and put Him in his own tomb.

The discrepancy lies around where exactly Jesus' body went.
I doubt the majority of scholars claim that as a historical fact rather than a personal belief, but I did not say anything about the majority of scholars because the majority of biblical scholars are Christian. The only historical facts scholars agree on are the ones attested to by multiple non-Biblical contemporary sources, and the empty tomb is not.

Joseph of Arimathea is most likely a literary fiction. The town of Arimathea is not recorded in history unlike every other town in the Gospels. It's implausible that there was enough time for Joseph to get an audience with Pilate, check that Jesus was dead, have his request accepted (why would Pilate even do that?), go back home to retrieve burial materials, take Jesus from the cross, bury him, move the stone all in the timeframe from 3pm to sundown. Then Joseph is never mentioned again. He's like a quest-critical NPC.

And we haven't even discussed the contradictions in the story itself. Acts claims Jesus was buried by the same people that condemned him to death and Mark claims all of the Sanhedrin condemned Jesus to death. But Matthew and John claim Joseph was a disciple who feared the Jews. Which is it?

We could also talk about the disappearing two thieves, Paul never mentioning the empty tomb, etc., but you get the point.

I'm a special fella.

I'm not at home and had a hard time falling asleep last night.
Oh, I’m also not used to falling asleep anywhere except home.
But I’ve got this kind of superpower: I can fall asleep on a train/plane/while being a passenger in a car. Like, literally 15 minutes into the journey I’m already asleep, and usually I only wake up when we’ve arrived.
But when I’m on vacation somewhere, it normally takes me 2–3 days to get used to sleeping in a new place.

As Nathan has already mentioned, let's please move along...or take it to DM and have a group chat.
