Atari was good. NES/Master system was better. SNES/Genesis was the golden age of gaming. Not to mention some of the best music and movies of all time.Damn, people who are 40–60 years old — I’m honestly jealous of you.
You got to live through the coolest periods: the birth and early golden age of technology.
Cars becoming normal, the internet appearing, that whole special vibe of the time. (Before everything got ruined.)
How far,REALLY does Google need to zoom?I'm inside a building at work .... it's too cold to stand outside waiting for Google and someone to zoom in on me lol
I want to be able to read the year a penny was pressed. How far,REALLY does Google need to zoom?
My guess is the number is between 1900 and 2027I want to be able to read the year a penny was pressed.
Asking the important questions.(This is a joke coming up, by the way)
Imagine there are 7 billion people on Earth.
Now open Google Maps, zoom in on some random spot.
Shouldn’t there be hundreds of people right there in one frame?
Like at a bus stop in a big city, or on a train station platform?
With 7 billion people, shouldn’t those places be packed with thousands standing shoulder to shoulder?!
Where the hell is everybody?!?!
So WE’RE all to blame…….I think you all have socially engineered me somehow in minecraft
Don’t tellNathan the Machinist but I phlucking LOVE pineappley pizzas. So much yum.
If it makes you feel any better, we are likely to get stepped on hardest, by the coming tectonic shift. Too young to retire, too old to ride it through and start over. We’re in trouble. On the other hand we did have Pearl Jam.Meaning, thank goodness I got to experience the world being awesome before it started to really sucks so bad
Wut?It has been said that each... EACH person on the planet could have 1 acre of land in Texas all to themselves.
Do you like cutting cardboard?
I needed to cut 50 boxes into tiny pieces, like really tiny pieces.
I cut them to keep track of the results of microscopy and sharpening, and also to see how the cutting edge behaves (chipping or changing geometry).
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah...
Even more, I like talking about the fact that I had to do it.
Although, basically, I was doing it just for my personal notes.
