USPS taking my stuff on National tour again 😅

Started in UT, traveled to the Indianapolis hub, than made its way to the Grand Rapids MI hub (central hub for this part of MI). USUALLY, it goes from this hub to my local post office for final delivery, but somehow, they decided that this package wasn’t well traveled enough, so they decided to extend the travel vacation and send it to Denver CO for a couple days, aaaaand now it’s in Omaha NE. 🙄

They must be taking their cues from watching Uber drivers, and laughing when people go, “NOOOO! Why are you turning around and going THAT way! You were 2 friggin blocks away! Where TF are you going?!!!”

Reminds me of a college buddy.

He had the knack for taking detours that found the most… vibrant parts of any big city.

“Dude… where the heck are you going? We’re supposed to follow the highway to XXX exit”.

“This way should be faster”

“… how the heck do you ALWAYS manage to take a detour through the area where the Stop signs and shop signs are full of bullet holes? Don’t stop, you moron. Roll through the Stop signs slowly. We aren’t welcome in these areas”.

Anyway, once Nathan and some guys here explained to me how long uranium takes to decay and how it turns into lead. (And there is some difference uranium)
So, dude, most likely they found out how old the Earth is as a side effect. Like, they probably just wanted to figure out how fast uranium turns into lead or something like that.
Overall, I like your approach to the matter.
