Random Thought Thread

I was sitting at my computer, and right next to it there was a heating radiator.Not long ago I called a plumber who completely removed that radiator, flushed it out, checked it, and tried to figure out what was wrong with it.Because I told him it was making some weird noise, and I could hear sounds like dripping water — I thought maybe something was wrong inside the radiator.


He spent like 2 hours taking it apart, messing with it — and in the end found absolutely nothing, no issues at all.


Now I’m sitting here working at my computer again and I hear the exact same sound… except now I realized it’s not the radiator at all.It’s my computer’s water cooling system that’s making those dripping water sounds and the noises that sounded like a problem with the battery/heater.


But it’s just my PC… and there’s actually no problem whatsoever.

I had that happen once. It turns out the smoke inside the computer needed to come out.

Just dump more water on it the sound should go away once the smoke is released.

P.S.
One consideration that made me pick HST over Gold Dot, is that HST has sealed primers and case mouths. Only specific Gold Dot variants have sealed case mouths.

Development continues, for some calibers at least. Just bought some boxes of Speer G2 in 45 to try out (230gr +P, sealed mouth).
 
One time, a guy who delivers goods to our store (usually just random people from transport companies) asked to use the bathroom.And what were we supposed to do? We let him in — you can’t really refuse someone who asks to use the toilet, right?

A couple of minutes later I went in after him… and while it wasn’t exactly the same horror as in that photo, what he left behind was definitely not nice.

No joking around — I just called him back, made him clean it up himself and told him straight: “We don’t do that here, and we don’t have a cleaner whose job it is to deal with this specifically after you.”

Honestly, the expression on his face was like I was being unreasonably picky.

Just in a place where people normally don’t leave a mess.

No exaggeration.

I’m genuinely wondering — do these people do the same thing at home?Or do they simply not care at all when it’s a shared / public space?
