I have learned that they're actually really are people that put ketchup on hot dogs. It's crazy.

We don't need toxic people like that in our lives.

Hear me out: mustard, just a little dash of ketchup, and pickled or grilled chiles. I mean, if an entire city (Chicago) can get away with sweet pickle relish, tomato slices, an entire pickle spear, and celery salt on their hot dogs then a little smear of ketchup can't be all that bad.

I prefer just barbecue sauce, or something like Tabasco.

Honestly, I don’t like ketchup at all either.

If needed, I just add tomato or fresh tomatoes to the food while it’s frying.

No need to be angry. :)

A good sausage from the meat vendor on the corner with mustard and sauerkraut is where it’s at! 😁

Sorry, I think you young folks now refer to them as "glizzies." I don't want to come off as age-ist.

Thank you!!! You can call them whatever you like if you keep classifying me as part of the “young folks.” 😂🤣

My aversion to hotdogs comes from growing up in a home where my parents didn’t make much money. So it was spaghetti with hotdogs, KD with hotdogs, straight up hotdogs and anything else usually with hot dogs.

I can’t even stand the smell of them anymore. :/

Makes sense to me, and I'm glad you worked your way out of that situation.

We had Campbell's chicken soup with added rice and hot dogs. Didn't know we were poor until I got much older.

Thank you. However, I do have my challenges at the moment. The company I used to work for was sold and decided they didn’t need a GM so I’ve been looking since last Oct.

Also, my parents also made it out of a tough financial situation and are also doing well.

TMI?
