I have a stand for jalapeños that goes on the grill. It came with a tool to core them for stuffing. It works pretty good. Something like this. Someone gave it to me or I never would have known such a thing existed. IMG_0549.jpeg

I calculated the fundamental acoustic frequency of our offices in the side-to-side direction. 59Hz, call it 60. Tones of 60Hz, or overtones like 120, 180 etc, will transmit efficiently and light up the room modes in his office. Hard to pinpoint the source when the resonances are hit.

A single tone isn't nearly as annoying as what is possible. Combining some closely spaced tones creates beat frequencies that are very unpleasant. My computer speakers don't put out much power at 60Hz, so I'm testing around 120 and 180. So far the most headache inducing sound I've come up with is 3 combined notes, such as 117, 120, 124 Hz, each with a sawtooth wave profile. The spread stays within the width of the room mode which should be 5-10 Hz.

Hopefully he'll attack me.

I went down to the Palm tree line to hear some music & get a little sun & fresh ocean air. It was a bit hazy over the ocean but it doesn’t show as much in these pics.
It was 68 degrees & a light breeze on shore!
Anyone remember the member here that was always talking about his adventures above the tree line? Said he would always pack out his dog’s shit for some reason?

I once knew a guy that had a similar work environment issue with a coworker.

The problem coworker was a serious - meaning, debilitating - germaphobe. He was constantly complaining to management about the guy I knew for things that probably would have been let slide by anyone else, but there was an obvious grudge going on.


One day, the guy I knew walked past the complainer’s desk and into the bathroom, where he took his time opening a small package of Nutella. One of those squeeze packs that come with crackers. Smeared a tiny bit on his index finger, flushed the toilet, and walked back out, stopped at the guy’s desk and struck up a conversation about an issue the company was working on. As he was talking, he casually picked up the guy’s coffee mug, acting as if he was trying to read the slogan on it, and delicately wiped the Nutella off of his fingertip onto the coffee mug, and set it back down, finishing his statement and walking away.


The guy immediately went home.
