What actually scares me is something else.
That people will choose anything just to avoid what is happening now.
It’s like people are literally being pushed into radicalization.
And that’s dangerous...!
Because the last veeeery radical shift happened in Europe, and the context was more or less similar.
Oh...!
The cyclical nature is explained by the fact that everyone forgets too quickly what led to what and why...
I had a superficial education about Western history and European history while attending University.
And they really glossed over a lot of stuff
I am very ignorant on the subject matter and, simultaneously, probably substantially better educated than the average person
The thing that really strikes me the most is the fairy tale that people live in where they do not recognize the fact that "history" did not happen that long ago, and it never stopped. It is still happening
People tend to look at it as something that happened in the past but this situation now is the new normal and will stay this way. ←that is delusional thinking and very very common
If a person of average intelligence were to simply study European history and then look at the situation today, what comes next is obvious.
What they're doing now WILL NOT WORK and it is magical thinking to think otherwise.
Mass deportations is the moderate choice.
It is insane how leaders continue to allow situations like this to become critical. They are past the point of a "good" outcome. I don't know what will happen, but I can guarantee you it won't be "good".
