As an aside, many of the deaths classified as “SIDS” are a result of preventable causes like co-sleeping/bed sharing.I believe they also excluded deaths of anyone 0-2 years of age, likely to keep out infant mortality due to SIDS, accidents, and other afflictions. You could argue it is a technically correct distinction but it is deliberately misleading as I think most people would correctly associate the term "children" with anyone from 0-18 years of age. If they are going to make distinctions between the cohorts then they should be consistent and break numbers down between infants, toddlers, children, and teens. But they did not.
