Yeah the tracking tag is really weird!!Oh, so it's not just me. I'm thinking I'll make some copies, laminate them and hand them out to grandparents too so that any of us can qualify to pick up my child.
I think the school is also installing a tracking tag on the kid's backpacks now(?). Not sure why the school needs to know where my child is after hours.

Not great focus in these pics all I had was my phone. I had a visit from a great horned owl in my mother in law’s backyard last month. I’m standing in the neighbor’s boat house when I literally hear the flap of wings as he landed in that branch in Granny’s yard. Maybe 30 yards away. Incredible night raptors.I was fortunate enough to see a great horned owl in the wild also. I was in awe. The thing was huge and the talons were insane. It felt like the thing was staring into my soul even from 20 yards or so away. Just amazing.

Who gave you....
That is super cool, Dave. I have been in close proximity, and watched them hunt. They were aware of my presence but unconcerned. As a kid my mother kept the books for Audubon Society, who had a barred owl with an injured wing after being hit by a Georgia Pacific truck. Spent a lot of time with him while my mom worked. Name was "GP". He was very expressive - sounded like a series of clicks.
Besides the owl- I love that bench, the yard, the trees, the Spanish moss…. Beautiful setting. Not great focus in these pics all I had was my phone.
