The frozen lake test only proves that water will always find it's own level, not that the earth is flat. The lake could be 10 feet, 10 miles or 1000 miles long and it would still be at the same level in spite of the local topography or the earths curvature.

^ some schticks are just way too dangerous and quite frankly, very stupid. Mad Mike's schtick was this whole flat Earth theory nonsense. Reportedly, he was using this garbage cause to fund his ultimate project of a building a Rockoon (a rocket / balloon) to propel him to the top of the stratosphere (62000 feet) to supposedly check out the shape of the planet for himself.

I'll rather stick with Albert Einstein: that dude was way more cool. He predicted the existence of super massive black holes on back of a napkin and he didn't even have to lift off outta his own shoes!

So, the 2/3 of the earth that is water is flat then?

Not according to the theory of gravity that I was taught.

Simply put. If you're a fan of Occam's Razor, what's simpler?

We're spinning faster than the speed of sound on a ball that's ALSO spinning around the sun at 66million miles per hour, that's ALSO spinning around the center of our Galaxy amazingly fast... NONE of Wich has ever been measured. EINSTEIN said we cannot come up with an experiment to measure the speed or actual spin of the earth.

Or.

That were not moving, and just as it LOOKS, everything overhead is moving.

I don't accept that. I have in the past, but will never again in the future. It just doesn't jive with what my senses tell me about where I live.

I could be wrong, but I'm not lying.
