I love my Sebenza. I keep coming back to it. I have lots of outstanding folders but I keep using my Sebenza because I just love that knife. It's an outstanding utility knife. But I think a folder could have good edge durability given the right metallurgy.

How about only making the replacement blade ?

S35vn = CRK soft.

Sure is, in the grand scheme of things. I’d love a thinner/harder variant. And I’m equally sure they’d love to make them! There isn’t the capacity to do so.

Suffice to say that I am satisfied for now and will eagerly try anything Carothers makes.

I should have it in hand by the weekend hopefully They come apart just fine, I've got a thread with the whole breakdown/makeover on mine a while back in the CRK section and there's pics in the disassembly pics thread in GKD too.

I have a very specific TRADE request. I am looking for an unused “bad idea” version Hard & Thin FK2 with a Swedge, preferably with TeroTuf scales.

For TRADE, I am offering my unused DEK1 in D3V with unbuffed green micarta scales.

When you guys see a trade only offer like this, do you immediately think, "Oh, Man! Wonder where I could get the knife he's looking for?!" or is it just me? That's usually the first thing I think of.

The Chris Reeve Inkosi is one of the most beautiful folders out there in my opinion. I really wish that they would harden the blade steel a little more or go with M390 or some other stainless that holds it's edge better.
When I carry it at work and use it a lot it dulls very quickly.
