While that is a large part of the problem, the other main issue is our lack of forest management in this state.
We have over 100 million dead or dying trees, not to mention dry fall or brush that hasn’t been addressed in years.
We’re sitting on a powder keg while the Feds and our state government sit on their thumbs and rotate.

Shit is crazy for sure, all the homes just outside Vacaville to the west are gone...fire came over the hill and just wiped them out:eek: Thankfully they have kept it out of the actual town proper, but it got within 500' of fencelines.
