I've never carried a fixed blade in my pocket until today.

Whipped up a kydex sheath (a lot more work than I'd like to admit I put into it) and bought a utiliclip. Wow, super comfy and puts it where I'll actually grab for it.

Well, California is on fire, again. Ash that fell last night from fires that are about ten miles away.

I think we’re starting to see some of the long term effects of depleting the water table to irrigate farmland and redirecting rainfall back into the ocean instead of the ground.

Looks good! I have a steel plate 8" X 24" press that is made for making Kydex holsters and sheaths, but I haven't tried to make anything out of Kydex yet.

Edit: I corrected my mistake.

Looks good! I have an iron 12" X 24" press that is made for making Kydex holsters and sheaths, but I haven't tried to make anything out of Kydex yet.

In a way that no other material I've ever worked with has ever displayed, kydex benefits from planning and exacting execution more than anything else.
