Very thought provoking. I have always loved talking to my elders.
I've never carried a fixed blade in my pocket until today.
Whipped up a kydex sheath (a lot more work than I'd like to admit I put into it) and bought a utiliclip. Wow, super comfy and puts it where I'll actually grab for it.

Well, California is on fire, again. Ash that fell last night from fires that are about ten miles away.
Looks good! I have an iron 12" X 24" press that is made for making Kydex holsters and sheaths, but I haven't tried to make anything out of Kydex yet.
