It really is like a sickness. I remember when buying an esee 6 was considered a big financial commitment. Now i wouldn't even blink at spending that or more on a knife

It's not a sickness at all; it's an investment. I rather forego about 2-3 sushi dinners with a date here in So. Cal and buy a CPK instead. At least I'll have something to show for my $$$. Warped logic? Perhaps, but I'm sticking with it for now :)

I think we need our own support group. "Hi, my name is Jonny and I have 327 knives..."

My goal is to have 20 CPK pieces. I'm 12 pieces into the plan, although I have let go of about 5-6 pieces already to some of our esteemed forumites. Let's see, LC-4V, EDC-2, MC and the FK 2.0, I'll be hitting my goals by the Fall next year :D

But sushi is some great stuff! When you get your CPK, maybe you can let the sushi chef cut up your rolls with it! ha ha!

It is and I wish I knew how to make it but... Hey, here at a very good sushi place with a few rolls and sashimi and couple of drinks and dessert, you're already up to a Buck twenty-third.. Add 20% gratuities and you are Buck fifty out the door. Trust Unc. Matty on this Johnny, best to stick to great knives. You appreciate them more and they don't talk back :D :D :D

P.S. those of you with great wives or good SOs, please do not learn bad things from me. I'm friggin nutz!

My wife knew what she was getting into when she married me, so all is good! We LOVE sushi. We do sushi date nights at least twice a month, sometimes more. We love our sashimi: unagi, ika, ama ebe, maguro, sake are our favorites! And a couple bottles of Sapporo, we are good to go!

I want to go all the way and wait for a BC. I have two 1311s and every chopper I hold, gets compared to them. Quickness to power ratio is what does it for me in the 1311. I have yet to find anything that chops as efficiently as it does! That's why I'm anxiously awaiting a BC to pop up somewhere! Maybe Kyle will send me his to try out one day!

^ He's gonna break them, isn't he?! I thought that a pony would be a great incentive :(

P.S. "that young lady" can go have sushi with her own Dad :D

Light chopper. Don't stop trying! I can't say how impressed I am. I've used that thing every chance I get. It's so nimble and light, it really surprised me how deep it dug in with just a light snap. Which is great for me. I've got a messed up wrist(dominant hand) and something too heavy takes its toll on me fast.
