About to roll out of Portland and head to Lincoln City/Depoe Bay for the next week or so. Supposed to be nasty on the coast, 28-35 foot seas, lots of rain and high winds. I’ll probably spend most my time in the rental watching the storm, or sitting down at Rogue in Newport hehe,

If you make it to Rogue, they have a pretty excellent clam chowder - probably the best I've tasted in Oregon. Not better than the chowders I've had in Maine but still really good and beats the socks off whatever Mo's passes for chowder (I don't care how many "awards" they say they have won).

I’ve never cared for Mo’s either. I’m looking forward to Rogues Reuben and Tillamook cheese curds though tomorrow!
