Another year, another LEOSA qualification with the sheriff's office.

Shot a few points under my normal score, (both day and night)...probably since it's the first qual since my hand injury at the end of July. Still have that bit of nerve damage that leaves part of each of the two fingers numb, part hypersensitive, and the rest normal.

At least now that I know I'm not recoil sensitive, I won't go in with trepidation and a sleepless night next time around.

I really don't know. I have a feeling this is how it's gonna be...and if it is, I can deal with it. If it gets any better, I'll be thankful for it.

Naturally, the ER docs that stitched me up said nothing about it one way or the other. I've done my own research online and it's kind of a crap shoot.

Bottom line is that if it doesn't, that's the way it will stay. I'm certainly not considering any kind of micro-surgery, especially since the motor function is essentially unimpaired...and doesn't keep me from working out or doing what needs doing.

Some parts are, some aren't. One section I can feel the stubble of my beard, but I can't feel if I hit it against something. It is what it is...and some of it is mysterious...but not unmanageable...thankfully.
