Celluloid or Acrylic? ... personally for my collection, neither. I'm VERY afraid of it and how it might stand the test of time. Seen too many failures after several decades ... but hey, that's decades of pleasure until then. I sure do enjoy looking at those knives others have. And that #85 of yours is just about the dang best one I've seen from that release. BEAUTIFUL
 
Thanks, Jim. I figure if the celluloid is 60+ years old and hasn't gassed yet, then it's probably safe. My worst luck with celluloid has been with German knives from the 1980s - I now stay away from those, pretty as they are.
