Listing all the National Parks you have visited, rank them in order of your favorite. I am sure we all have places that we like as much or more that are not National Parks, but let's just stick with National Parks for this exercise.

Here are mine...

1. Kings Canyon
2. Sequoia
3. Smoky Mountain
4. Yosemite
5. Zion
6. Death Valley
7. Rocky Mountain
8. Grand Canyon
9. Acadia

Going to Yellowstone in August!

Here is a ranking of the parks I have been to and remember well.

1. Zion NP
2. Grand Teton NP
3. Grand Canyon NP
4. Yellowstone NP
5. Hawaii Volcano NP
6. Bryce Canyon NP

I really want to make it up to Denali NP sometime.

Zion,
Bryce canyon,
Acadia,
Glacier,
yellowstone
Rocky mountain
....More to come as I get to travel more.

I have not been to many NPs, but I like Big Bend in Texas and Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. When I was a kid we went to Yosemite and that was great too.

Hard for me to rank them. Each has it's own unique beauty. Having lived in Zion and Rocky I like them a lot.

Acadia was my first and gave me the mountain bug.

I had a chance to work in Yosemite but passed on it. I have long wanted to go to Kings Canyon/Sequoia. I think those would be my favorites. I love the Sierras.

Isle Royale would have to be on the list also.

Okay, heres mine and my girlfriends faves. that we've been to together:

1.Olympic
2.Canyonlands
3.Kings Canyon/Sequoia
4.Glacier
4.Zion
5.Bryce
6.Yosemite
7.Arches
8.Crater Lake
9. Death Valley (Not sure if its a NP or not...)
10.Grand Canyon (The Disneyland of NP's, should have gone to the North side...)

*Lavabeds National monument was pretty cool too!

Hoping to goto Yellowstone/Grand Tetons soon. Tortuga NP if my girlfriends archeology pans out (Even if it doesnt!) .

My favorite and most frequented...
1. Yosemite....and anything that has to do with the Sierra.

I havn't been for two years! hit by car/ shoulder surgery...dragging on for too long. But i got my first trip back planned next month.

I've also been to Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands, and part of the Maze District. Still, so far like Zion the best. Also, would like to see more of the Maze District though.

We were at the southeastern portion of Canyonlands, but often think about planning a hike into the Maze area sometime. I must admit though, Yosemite is the park I goto most because its so close, and Tuolumne meadows is so nice.

Grand Teton
Rocky Mountain
Yellowstone (Backcountry, not tourist areas)
Glacier
Banff

I just can't get enough of the big mountains.

Fort Vancouver
Crater Lake
Mount Rushmore
Little Bighorn Battlefield
Yellowstone
Redwood
Alcatraz Island
Grand Canyon

Some of these are not Parks as I think of them but they are part of the NPS. I have to agree with the previous poster in that they are all different and have their individual appeal. Some were fun for the historical aspects (I'm a history buff) and others for the scenic beauty.
My most recent visit was to Crater Lake and was with my wife. We had a great time and was the first time I've had a woman take me to her favorite outdoors location. It will always have a special place in my memories. Hopefully next year we will be able to take our daughter.

I haven't been to many NP's, but I definitely have a few that I've visited quite a bit.
Sequoia
Kings Canyon
Joshua Tree
Yosemite (So beautiful there, but so crowded!)

It's easy to pick my favorite but then it gets difficult.

Win

1) Zion - because it's almost my backyard and is amazing
2) Canyonlands & Arches - they're close together and I need to do a lot more visiting
3) Bryce - Beautiful NP - one day is plenty, though
4) Big Bend- loved this remote park
5) Capitol Reef - need to spend more time there. Cool place
6) Grand Canyon - should really be hiked and I haven't done it. We go to the NR at least once a year.

I like them all...as sheeple bait! they are called parks because that is where you park your RV.
It is a shame how over-developed some of the NPs are, but it attracts more tourists away from genuine wilderness.
I still visit some of them if they have something to offer that you can't find somewhere else.

they are all amazing in there own rights. Here's my ranking

1. Yosemite, standing on top of half dome gives it this rank, but otherwise too crowded.
2. Grand Tetons,
3. Zion, so many great hikes
4 Sequoia, lots of bears running around
5 Grand Canyon
6 Yellowstone, the forests fires ruined a lot of the beauty
7. Carlsbad Caverns
8. Glacier, didn't spend enough time there, but if I did it probably would be ranked higher if I did.

I agree for the most part, but you don't have to step off the trail far to get to wilderness without people, plus they are managed differently than National Forests meaning larger contiguous pieces that are roadless. Real easy to do in most parks. And many are very remote to begin with. I was in Kings Canyon last week and saw maybe 10 people once I got past the entrance, and they were all on the main road.

1. Jasper
2. Banff
3. Denali
4. Glacier
5. Theodore Roosevelt (I'm serious! :D)
