That is bizarre, as I find Fällkniven knives to be extremely overpriced even in the USA. Maybe they really are "all that good" (I don't own any, due to the price), but I've seen customs cheaper than some of their production stuff.... but more bizarre is Fällkniven. They are made in Sweden (next door to me) but buying them from Sweden or here or elsewhere in the EU costs a lot more than from the USA! Maybe Wallmart is responsible for these cheaper US prices too?
No you don't. Want one, that is. I've got one, and they're way too powerful, and let in way too little light to be all that useful. The field of view is so small that it's a major pain to use. You'd be much better off with a 10-15x jeweler's loupe. I like the Belomo Triplet, for which I paid something like $15 US, shipped. It is the single best investment in my sharpening skills that I've made. It really helps to see what you're doing (or have done, as the case may be).GRIPE Radioshack refuses to ship to the EU even using Visa or Paypal the fogging dirtbags! I want one of those 10 dollar mini microscopes to examine blade edges but can't get hold of one WHINE! Help??
