Rant: Annoying e-bayers!

Thanks Amos. That's kind of what I was thinking - it looks the sort of thing you'd expect a 17-1800's mountain man to be carrying. :D

It feels like it want sot be in the kitchen, so I may let it have some time there, until I get around to my first sheath making attempt.

They are made in Japan for a Swedish company. They always have been. Fallkniven doesn't make knives and never have. They design and import knives.

The Japanese make some of the best cutlery available and they make the absolute best kitchen cutlery on the planet. That's certainly one of the reasons the Fallknivens are so well respected. I view them as among the best fixed blade knives available and consider them a steal for the price.
